Strawberry and cherry, heavy and aromatic on the nose with potpourri, lively wild berry notes and a hint of licorice. On the palate this is tart and crisp with bold acidity and earthen fruit notes of cherry and raspberry, a bit of warmth coming in on the mid palate with some spice and notes of leather, clay and smoke, wrapped in more red fruit. ... Purchased this after tasting with Marcus at his place in McMinnville last July. For pinot gris, this is an excellent wine. More stone fruit than citrus but with some nice acidity.
