The 2012 Semillon (with 15% Sauvignon Blanc) from the esteemed L'Ecole No. 41 is quite a treat: the colour is lightly golden, and the nose an invigorating, spicy, nose-twitching, gooseberry. Entry is quite luscious and mature, with more white berry confit, musk and white pepper. Delicious. Much like Hunter Valley (NSW, Australia), only somewhat lighter. A wonderful find. 90.
