The Black Chook Shiraz-Viognier 2016

Member Review by zufrieden:

This modestly priced Shiraz (4% Viognier, negligible) has a nose of menthol, cooked black fruit and plums. Powerful on entry with more menthol lozenge, almond and blackberry concentrate. Very McLaren Valley; very Oz. Could age a couple more years, but perfect for the BBQ now. Excellent quality - especially considering the price point. 88.
